OHRC APPROVES CHANGE IN SIMULCAST SPLIT
A May 9, 2006 press release from the OHRC reads as follows:
At the November 15th OHRC monthly meeting the simulcast splits at Remington Park and Tulsa Fair Meadows were discussed and voted on.
At Remington Park the split was set at 90% thoroughbreds 10% mixed breeds.
At Tulsa Fair Meadows the split was set at 80% thoroughbreds and 20 mixed breeds.
These splits are more in line with the actual percentage of race signals taken by these tracks versus the previous splits. The TRAO pushed to have these splits designated at these levels and the OTA assisted them in those requests.
